Hillsborough County, FL -- The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing to discuss amending the Fiscal Year 2012 Budget on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. at the County Center, 2nd Floor Boardroom, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd. in Downtown Tampa.

The public hearing will be held to revise revenues and adjust associated appropriations, transfers and reserves based on Fiscal Year 2011 year end balances.

Hillsborough County, FL -- Today, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m., is the deadline for voters to request a Vote By Mail/Absentee Ballot to be sent to them for the Presidential Preference Primary and/or Temple Terrace Referendum.

According to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections, after today, voters will have to go to one of the four Supervisor of Elections offices to pick up their Vote By Mail/Absentee Ballot.

Hillsborough County, Florida -- The deadline for voters to have a Vote By Mail/Absentee Ballot sent to them by mail is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

After Jan. 25, voters can appear in-person and request a ballot at any of the four Supervisor of Elections offices.  Vote By Mail, formerly known as absentee voting, is one of three ways that registered Republicans can cast their ballot in the upcoming election.

Hillsborough County, FL -- Sample ballots have been mailed out for the Presidential Preference Primary.

The Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office has mailed out 221,901 sample ballots to all registered Republicans.

"With Early Voting starting next Monday, the 16th in Hillsborough County, we wanted to give the voters ample time to look over and familiarize themselves with their respective ballot," Earl Lennard, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections, said in a release.

Hillsborough County, FL -- Starting today, Jan. 5, voters who visit www.VoteHillsborough.org on their smartphones will find an enhanced mobile website designed to make navigation easier and more efficient.

The mobile site features four quick links allowing voters to check their registration status, request a Vote By Mail/Absentee Ballot, check the status of their Vote By Mail/Absentee Ballot, and locate their polling location.
